Welcome to My Food Calling

I’ve been a foodie all my life. And not just any foodie — I may not know everything about food, but I’m crazy passionate about it.

I come from a small town called Dibrugarh in Assam, and honestly I feel blessed. I grew up around some of the best local produce you can find. I think that’s where this love for food started. My family is also very particular about food, so it was always a big part of my life.

 

When I started working around 2013, my love for food only grew. At first I stuck to the basics — simple Assamese dishes. Then, as I got more confident, I started experimenting with everything — Naga food, pasta, South Indian, whatever I enjoyed, I tried cooking it.

 

That’s how the craze started.

 

Since then, it’s simple — if I’m not cooking, I’m eating. And if I’m traveling, food is a big part of the journey.
